Arrington, Frank, and Linnea Arrington. Personal interview. Oct. 2012.
I interviewed my grandparents for my Family Recipe, Arrington's Irish Chili. My Grandfather, Frank Arrington, gave me many good sources, including the cook book that it is written in and a newspaper article that tells how he won the Munger Cook Off for the second time. Frank and Linnea described how Frank and George Munger (co-author of the Cook Book) became friends, which lead to his recipe getting published in the Munger Cook Book. They not- only explained about the recipe but also about the story behind it, including all three Munger Cook offs that he was a member off and how he won two out of three of them. Arrington's Irish Chile has been a big part of my family history and interviewing my Grandparents have helped me understand that even more!
